Flyer on shoulders of base
Tighten up your core.
Hold the calves of the flyer and pull them down (this makes the flyer feel safe and grounded).
Relax your shoulders to offer a nice platform.
Hold a straight and upright position.
Tighten up your body.
Keep your legs straight.
Turn your heels in and push against the bases head with your legs.
Relax your feet.
Stand in the back or on the side.
Reach for the legs of the flyer, or higher if you can reach.
If you are smaller/lighter than the flyer, make sure there's a second or even a third spotter.
