Base Position: Base lying on the back
Flyer Position: Flyer on tights and headover
Contact Point: Flyer on feet of base



  • Hold your legs in a 90° angle to your upper body (ankles are exactly above your hips).
  • Place your feet as close as possible to the hips of the flyer (this makes it easier for the flyer).
  • Point your toes slightly out.


  • Pike your hips to about a 90° angle (bring your toes towards your ears).
  • Relax your upper body (let it hang down).


  • Stand behind the legs of the base.
  • Spot the hips of the flyer (both hands under the legs, so you can catch the flyer if the base collapses).
