Reverse Shoulderstand on Hands

Base Position: Base lying on the back
Flyer Position: Flyer on shoulders
Contact Point: Flyer on hands of base



  • Keep your arms straight.
  • Let your shoulders sink into the floor.


  • Keep your body straight or slightly hollow.

  • Stay tight (engage the core and your legs).
  • Place your hands on the forearms of the base in the back, fingers point down. It may be easiest to have your hands close to the bases wrists and your elbows slightly out.
  • Push your hands down on the forearms of the base to keep the balance.


  • Stand at the back of the flyer.

  • Spot the hips.
