Entry to Standing on elbows (L-Base)

Level: Intermediate

Description

The flyer puts one foot on the forearm of the base with the toes just before the elbows. The stepping up starts from the leg that still stands on the ground. The flyer bends the leg and starts stepping from that stable leg. That movement is continued by the leg that stands already on the bases forearm.
The idea for the flyer should be to step very softly but also with a nice tempo so the the step goes "higher" than the second forearm of the base. Think about having a very short time the balance on just one leg. Then slowly land on the second arm.
